Catching air

Racers at Northern Power Race Park get some air after leaving the start line of their competitive event on Saturday. Race director Rene Maier said nearly 100 entries with riders from Michigan and Wisconsin took part in Saturday’s races. “While this was the final race on the Northern Power Race Park track this summer, the Pit Bike Racing action isn’t over yet,” Maier said. “We have teamed up with the Northwestern Michigan Fair to host a grandstand race on Tuesday, August 11.” Registration information is online at www.northwesternmichiganfair.net.
