September StoryWalk Features ‘How Chipmunk Got His Stripes’

Families can visit Coy Mountain, 9011 Valley St. in Alden, Sept. 1-29 for the monthly StoryWalk®, featuring “How Chipmunk Got His Stripes” by Joseph Bruchac and James Bruchac. The story covers about a half-mile portion of the trail, allowing visitors to read while enjoying a walk through the woods. Coy Mountain is open daily from dawn to dusk. The program is sponsored by the Alden District Library.
