Balloons Over Bellaire Returns for 14th Annual Event

Shanty Creek Resort will present the 14th annual Balloons Over Bellaire Aug. 28-30, featuring hot air balloon flights over the Bellaire area. The event begins from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28, at the Shanty Creek Resort Tubing Hill. On Saturday, Aug. 29, balloons are scheduled to fly over Torch Lake from 7 to 9 a.m., followed by another session from 6 to 8 p.m. at the tubing hill. A backup flight is scheduled from 7 to 9 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 30, at the tubing hill. All flights are weather permitting.
