Exploring Shipwrecks of the Great Lakes

Renowned underwater and nature photographer, Chris Roxburgh, will present “Exploring Shipwrecks of the Great Lakes” at the Historic Elk Rapids Town Hall (HERTHA) on Tuesday, March 14 at 6 p.m, Roxburgh, a master diver who has explored wrecks throughout the Great Lakes will share photos from his more recent adventures including those in the Mackinaw Straits and Thunder Bay’s National Marine Sanctuary. In 2020, Roxburgh published his best-selling “Leelanau Underwater” book of shipwrecks in Leelanau County and the Manitou Passage. The program is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Elk Rapids and is free of charge.
