Storytelling & Speed Painting Program

Storytelling and Speed Painting Program – The Legend of the Sleeping Bear Dunes will be held on Thursday, Aug. 8 at 10:30 a.m. This family event is being presented by Martina Hahn. The program features the story of the Sleeping Bear Dunes, a short animated film, some fun facts and history and how art ties into this program. The grand finale will be speed painting an image related to the legend. This is a free event and is sponsored by the Alden District Library and held at the Helena Township Community Center, 8751 Helena Road. For more information contact 231-331-4318.
