Christmas through the Decades 1910 – 2023

The Elk Rapids Area Historical Society will host a holiday display as part of “White Christmas”. All are invited to join for a special holiday display “Christmas through the Decades: 1910-2023” at the museum, 301 Traverse Street in Elk Rapids on Friday,  Nov. 3. The museum’s exhibit will be open prior to each performance of the Elk Rapids Player’s production of “White Christmas” at the historic Elk Rapids Town Hall, 401 River Street. The play is scheduled to run Friday through Sunday,  Nov. 3 - 5 and Nov. 10 - 12. Performances will take place at 7 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. on Sundays. The museum will be open from 4-7 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 12-2 p.m. on Sundays before the play. Additionally it will be open on Saturday,  Nov. 25 from 1-4 p.m. The display will include Christmas trees, vintage ornaments and other seasonal items.
