Wilkinson inks letter of intent with Davenport

KALKASKA — McKenzie Wilkinson started looking at schools in August.

Three months later she was getting tired of the entire process.

Not only did Wilkinson take the stress of recruiting out of her life, but she found a place to continue her athletic career when she signed a letter of intent with Davenport to suit up for the Panthers’ women’s basketball team. Wilkinson committed two weeks ago, but made it official during a signing ceremony on Wednesday, Nov. 15 at Kalkaska High School.
