Walk For Hunger
Local churches in Bellaire, Alden, Mancelona and Rapid City are joining together to walk for hunger on Sunday, Sept. 25. Twenty-five percent of funds we are able to raise, goes directly to food pantries in the local communities. Please join us at 1:45 p.m. at the Forest Home Township Hall in Bellaire. The walk starts at 2 p.m. The walk is gentle. Donations are appreciated through participating churches the day of the CROP walk and in canisters at the Rapid City and Elk Rapids Village Market locations. If you wish to support the walk but cannot join in donations may be mailed to the Alden United Methodist Church at PO Box 130, Alden, MI 49612. Checks need to be payable to Church World Service/CROP.
