Village president clarifies Review’s report of recent township meeting

The article entitled “Central Lake DPW Supervisor Moves to Township,” (June 2, 2022) contains inaccurate information that may be misleading to readers. The Village of Central Lake trustees would like to have a clarification published to ensure that your readers have the information they need. 

The article states that a special joint board meeting occurred between Central Lake Township and the Village of Central Lake; this is incorrect. The Township did not initiate a jointly held meeting, and no jointly held meeting occurred, to discuss the employment of the DPW Supervisor.
