Upcoming Gala to support Kalkaska Schools

KALKASKA — The Kalkaska Area Education Foundation (KAEF) will host its first fundraising gala at the Kalkaska High School gymnasium on Saturday, March 14.

The gala will feature presentations showcasing classrooms in the district, a dinner, and silent auction. Money raised from the ticket sales and activities will provide additional funding for classrooms in the Kalkaska Public School district. 

After paying all the bills, school systems are often left with very little to upgrade technology or buy supplies for projects. To support local learning, KAEF has been awarding educational grants for over two decades.
