Trojans outlast Ironmen in high-octane game

MANCELONA — Don’t count out Central Lake just yet.

The Trojans, who entered Friday night’s boys basketball game carrying a three-game losing streak, showed it still has plans to make a run at a Ski Valley Conference championship when it snapped that losing skid with a 76-73 win over red-hot Mancelona.

The Ironmen had won six games in a row but couldn’t outscore the more experienced Trojans in an offensive shootout.
