Starr informs board of request for second contract with KPS

KALKASKA — Superintendent Terry Starr made more than his usual report at the Kalkaska Public Schools Board of Education meeting on Monday, Feb. 15.
Starr, who is nearing the end of this original three-year contract as the school district’s top administrator, also had a request.
“I wish to seek a renewal of my contact,” he told board members. “I’ll be talking soon with the Personnel Committee.”
