Rosiek named to All-Ski Valley volleyball first team
REGION — The Ski Valley Conference announced its all-conference picks for the 2018 volleyball season and Bellaire led area schools with four players on the first and second teams, or honorable mention.
Among those who garnered first team honors was the Eagles’ Sophie Rosiek, a four-year senior standout who helped Bellaire finish second in the league standings with a stellar campaign as an outside hitter.
Rosiek racked up 262 kills as the Eagles won a district championship and won a regional semifinal game against Mio before seeing their season end in the regional championship game with Leland. Rosiek also helped the Eagles by amassing 702 digs, while also serving 71 aces in 425 attempts.
