Romeyn repeats as area’s top girls cross country runner

REGION — Nothing changed for the area’s top girls cross country runner Maia Romeyn.

Except for the fact that the sophomore standout got even better this year.

After turning in an exceptional freshman season that earned her the All-Region Girls Cross Country Runner of the Year award, Romeyn showed improvement again as a 10^th grader, looking more dominant and running faster times than she had in the past. That made her an easy choice as the repeat pick for All-Region Girls Cross Country Runner of the Year.
