Richardson second to none

MANCELONA — Mancelona boys track coach Terry Wheeler thinks senior Tristan Richardson is the best thrower anyone will see in the area.

No one can accuse Wheeler of being biased toward his own athlete because time and again this season Richardson has proven it at meets.

The Ironmen have been fortunate to have Richardson as part of their small squad of athletes as he’s finished first in shot put and discus in all but two meets this year — once taking second in the discus and another time finishing second in the shot put.
