While remodeling its future office downtown, Julia Pietrowicz of Keller William Realty discovered an antique billboard that appears to have been painted by Thomas Cusack, a well-known sign painter and pioneer of outdoor advertising in the late 19th and early 20th century.

BELLAIRE – The building located at 107 N. Bridge St., between Mr. and Mrs. B’s Mercantile and BelleAdora Boutique in Bellaire, is getting a facelift this winter.

Formerly a draft office, furniture store, attorney’s office, and an accountant’s office, the building will now serve as the headquarters for the Julia Pietrowicz Team with Keller William Realty.

A former GM employee with experience in sale service marketing and advertising research, Pietrowicz moved to the Bellaire area in 2005 to take care of her aging parents. Bellaire had always been a vacation destination for her family, but she is the first generation to live in the area before retirement.

Pietrowicz began her real estate career with Real Estate One, and is now affiliated with Keller Williams Realty. She had been renting space in town for the past five years, but knew it was not a long-term plan, as the building had often changed hands.
