Ellsworth High School graduate Jäeger Griswold awarded 

Horatio Alger National Scholarship at conference in Washington D.C.


Jäeger Griswold graduated in 2021 as valedictorian of his class at Ellsworth High School. Just recently, during the second semester of his freshman year at Vanderbilt University, Griswold attended the Horatio Alger Awards conference in Washington D.C. where he was awarded the Horatio Alger National Scholarship.

The Horatio Alger Association is an organization focused on honoring the achievements of individuals who have been successful in a variety of fields in spite of adversity. The association offers several scholarships to support students who are pursing higher education and who exemplify determination, integrity and perseverance when faced with adversity and financial need.
