Mancelona the last remaining undefeated team in SVC

MANCELONA — The Mancelona boys basketball team took over the drivers’ seat in the Ski Valley Conference on Thursday.

The Ironmen remained the only undefeated team in the conference after knocking off Gaylord St. Mary 67-56 in a showdown between the top teams in the standings.

“We were both undefeated coming in. Now we’re in the drivers’ seat,” said Mancelona coach Brian Sheridan. “If we win out, the league is ours.”
