KPS willing to help students meet new dress code requirements

KALKASKA – Some students and parents at Kalkaska Public Schools are seemingly upset with the district’s new dress code.
But, instead of backing down or immediately revising the policy, KPS officials are looking for ways to help families meet the new requirements.
The revised dress code, which was adopted in August as part of the student handbooks for Kalkaska middle and high school students, placed new restrictions on clothing worn by students, including:
