KPS receives donation to pay for unpaid food balances

KALKASKA — Somewhere, someone might be uttering, “This one is one me.”
The Kalkaska Public Schools Board of Education voted unanimously, 7-0, at its regular meeting Monday, Jan. 20, to accept a donation of $2,341.13 to pay for secondary unpaid food balances that have accumulated since the start of the current 2019-20 school year through Jan. 5.
According to KPS officials, the donation was anonymous and unsolicited.
