KPS board approves pandemic ‘learning plan’

KALKASKA - The Kalkaska Public Schools Board of Education helped district administrators dot their i’s and cross their t’s by approving a new “learning plan.”

Supt. Terry Starr said the plan is now required by the State of Michigan and details how districts will operate during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The board’s action follows approval of a similar operational plan approved earlier this year that was sent to the Traverse Bay Area Intermediate School District.
