KALKASKA – The Kalkaska High School Hall of Fame is going to be busy on Friday, May 25, welcoming four new inductees during ceremonies starting at 7 p.m. at the high school on North Birch Street in Kalkaska.

Over the past decade, more than three dozen KHS alumni have been honored by being selected to be part of the local hall of fame.

This year’s class includes Maurice Spencer (Class of 1956), Kim (Essary Babcock (Class of 1975), Gregg Forwerck (Class of 1977) and Russell Dalton (Class of 1980). Spender will be honored posthumously.

And, the honorees should have plenty of tales to tell the crowd inside the KHS Auditorium.

Forwerck has worked as a photographer for Topps Trading Cards since 1989, making him one of the preeminent photographers for major and minor league sports, including baseball, football, basketball and hockey.
