Ingersoll signs to play baseball at Aquinas
FIFE LAKE — Long before he decided he was going to play baseball at Aquinas College, Chase Ingersoll became quite familiar with the school.
Ingersoll was a frequent visitor to the Grand Rapids school’s campus from 2012-16, watching his sister Marissa run for the Saints’ women’s track and field team. Now, the Forest Area senior is set to follow in his sister’s footsteps to Aquinas, signing to play for the Saints on Wednesday, Jan. 22 at Forest Area High School.
“I’m super excited and thankful for everybody that’s helped me,” he said. “I’m ready to go on to the next step in my life and continue playing baseball and get my education at Aquinas. I’m excited to go there. It will be fun.”
