Griswold, Disbrow named finalists for MHSAA Scholar-Athlete Award

REGION — Ellsworth’s Jaeger Griswold and Kalkaska’s Jordyn Disbrow were named among the 120 finalists for the 2020-21 MHSAA Scholar-Athlete Award.

The program, in its 32nd year, selects 32 individuals from MHSAA member school who participate in at least one sport in which the MHSAA sponsors a postseason tournament. Winners will receive a $1,000 scholarship. Since the program started in 1989-90, 8,323 scholarships have been awarded.

Disbrow was one of 16 finalists among girls in Class B. Griswold was one of eight finalists among boys in Class D.
