GNA ski teams headed for state finals

HARBOR SPRINGS — A perfect day for skiing was made even better as the Great North Alpine (GNA) ski co-op advanced both the boys and girls teams to the state finals at the Division 2 regional ski meet, held at Nubs Nob on Monday.

“The conditions were perfect. Nubs Nob is one of the best places to ski,” said GNA coach Doug White. The day was made even better as the GNA girls bounced back from finishing fourth in the slalom to win the giant slalom and earn the third qualifying spot for the state finals.

The top three teams from regionals advance to the state finals.
