Four Elk Rapids volleyballers earn all-conference

The All Northern Shores Conference volleyball teams were announced last week with four Elk Rapids seniors earning recognition.  First Team All-Conference honors were awarded to Mattea Ball and Caroline Best. This was the second straight first team honor for Best and the second conference award for Ball, an all-conference honorable mention as a sophomore. Best racked up 254 kills and 193 digs with 31 aces served before her season ended with an ACL tear in mid-October. Ball led the team with 402 digs this season and tied for first serving 93 aces. Ball finished her career with 1255 digs.
