Forest Area breezes through Onaway

FIFE LAKE — Ron Stremlow was bracing for five games.

The Forest Area volleyball coach was more than happy to have overestimated how long Tuesday’s match against Onaway would last, however.

In a battle between two, top-10 ranked teams — Forest Area is fifth in Class D and Onaway is eighth — the defending Ski Valley Conference champion Warriors breezed past the Cardinals in three games in convincing fashion, 25-14, 25-18, 25-10.
