Elks split four games in five days

ELK RAPIDS — With the boys basketball season winding down, and weather cancelled games still needed to be played, the Elks took to the road playing three games in three days.

Traveling to Grayling on Thursday, the Elks recorded a 62-57 overtime win, at Boyne on Friday with an 84-77 overtime win, then to Charlevoix on Saturday, suffering a 60-54 loss.

The Elks took Sunday off, then hosted St. Francis on Monday, losing 57-40. All four contests were Lake Michigan Conference match-ups, with the loss to St. Francis knocking the Elks from the title contention.
