Elks remain undefeated in conference

GRAYLING — The Elk Rapids soccer team dominated Grayling 5-1 on the road Monday, staying undefeated in Lake Michigan Conference play.
Preston Ball scored twice, Jaden Christensen had a pair pf goals and Cooper Kerkhof notched his first goal of the season. Grayson Krakow, Tyler Stanton and Ball each had an assist. Ethan Pike stood in goal, getting five saves. All the scoring for both sides came in the second half, with the Grayling goal coming late to prevent the Elk shutout.
