Elk Rapids Fall Festival & Scarecrow Contest

The Downtown Elk Rapids Association is hosting a Fall Festival on River Street Saturday, Sept. 24, from 12- 4 p.m. This fourth Saturday in Sept. is also known as the second annual Michigan Downtown Day honoring and supporting downtowns and the small businesses located within.

To celebrate this special day, there will be pumpkin painting, kids’ games and activities, music, cider and donuts, a beer and brats tent, Autumn harvest market, a scarecrow contest and more. Special guests will include the Christmas reindeer along with Alpaca’s. Bring the family downtown to play, shop, and dine as we celebrate fall with all its golden glory. River Street will be closed from traffic during this family fun event.
