Despite defeat, White looks to continue to serve

KALKASKA — Elections might have consequences, but to D. Allen White that doesn’t mean he won’t continue to serve the community he calls home.
White, a trustee and president pro tem on the Kalkaska Village Council, was one of four candidates running for three council seats in the general election on Tuesday, Nov. 3.
Unfortunately, for the incumbent, White ended up with the fewest votes (329) and lost his bid for another four-year term on the seven-member board.
