County vaccination clinics making an impact
BELLAIRE — Vaccination clinics coordinated by Antrim County's Emergency Management office are making an impact, Emergency Management Director Leslie Meyers said last week.
Updating the Antrim County Board of Commissioners during the board's meeting of Thursday, March 18, Meyers said that 3,000 Antrim County residents have now received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, while another 1,900 residents have received their second dose.
"While we've had an uptick of 24 COVID-19 cases in the last two days, vaccinations are up, too," Meyers said, noting that the Health Department of Northwest Michigan is now holding two clinics a week at the Helena Township Community Center in Alden.
