County officials to travel to NRC meeting in support of reverter waiver for Kaliseum
KALKASKA – At least one member, and maybe more, of the Kalkaska County Board of Commissioners might soon be hitting the road in support of seeking a waiver to a reverter clause for the Kaliseum Recreation Complex.
Board members voted unanimously, 7-0, at their regular monthly meeting Wednesday, Aug. 16, to have District No. 2 Commissioner Stuart McKinnon travel to Lansing to attend the Sept. 14 meeting of the state’s Natural Resource Commission in Lansing.
The NRC is appointed by the governor to oversee policy issues for the Michigan Department of Natural Resources.
