Council OKs new administration post, promotion and manual
KALKASKA — It’s official. The Kalkaska Village Council approved the creation of a new administrative assistant post to help spread a growing workload among staff members, as well as tackling other personnel issues at its regular meeting Monday, July 13.
Trustee Diana Needham, chairwoman of the council’s Personnel Committee, said she “highly recommended approval of the new position, which will carry with it a pay rate of $15 per hour and will be full time.
“We think this will be a tremendous addition to the office,” she said. “This is something that’s good, that we need a third person.”
