Central Lake-Ellsworth moves to 4-0 with win over Warriors
FIFE LAKE — All it took was two Forest Area fumbles and Central Lake-Ellsworth was off and rolling in Friday night’s football game.
The Warriors (1-3) coughed it up twice on their first two drives and the Trojans made them pay, scoring touchdowns on both possessions to build a 14-0 advantage that ended up leading to a 44-14 win that improved Central Lake-Ellsworth to 4-0.
“Those turnovers were really big,” said Central Lake-Ellsworth senior Jayce Hoogerhyde. “We were able to capitalize on them.”
