Central Lake 4th activities, High Tea cancelled
ANTRIM COUNTY – The novel coronavirus claimed more victims this week with recent announcements about the cancellation of this year’s High Tea and the postponement of Central Lake’s 4th of July festivities.
Both announcements came on Friday, May 29.
“The COVID virus has, without question, had an effect on all of us in some way — from our jobs, our schedules, our health and the ‘new normal’ that is still emerging,” the Central Lake Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors stated in a press release. “The Village of Central Lake, the Central Lake Area Chamber of Commerce and the Downtown Development Association all want to assure you we all want the best for our community and your health and well-being for a long time to come.”
