BELLAIRE — During an otherwise routine evening business meeting last week, the Antrim County Board of Commissioners listened to more than an hour of concerns regarding a remediation plan for erosion damage at a proposed Milton Township RV park.

The plan, created by a Gourdie-Fraser engineer retained by the park's developer for erosion repair of a steep slope caused during a violent rainstorm in July 2020, had been approved for implementation by the Antrim Conservation District Board of Directors the night before the county's meeting.

Tonya Lewandowski, a civil engineer with Traverse City's Environmental Consulting & Technology, Inc., spoke to the commissioners on behalf of many of the residents of the Torch River area where the proposed park is to be located.
