Blazers’ offense struggles in loss to St. Francis

KALKASKA — The ball wouldn’t fall through the hoop for the Kalkaska girls basketball team on Friday night.

The Blazers struggled offensively for much of their Lake Michigan Conference contest against Traverse City St. Francis and the Gladiators took a 43-31 victory in a Coaches vs. Cancer game.

Kalkaska was held to single digit scoring in each of the last three quarters as the Gladiators got revenge for a 58-40 Kalkaska win nearly a month ago.
