Bellaire quarterbacks perform well at Top Gun camp

COMSTOCK PARK — If past performance is a predictor of future success, Bellaire senior Luke Niepoth could be in store for a huge season on the gridiron this fall.
Niepoth took part in Bill Reagan’s Top Gun Quarterback Training over three days last week and came home with the Top Gun Award as the camp’s top performer.
“I went to it last year,” said Niepoth. “There were a lot of good quarterbacks down there. This year it was even a better experience. I just learned a lot from this guy. He taught me a lot about the position and footwork stuff. Me and my buddy (Brayden Dawson) got to know each other a lot better just hanging out for three days. My buddy got a ton better down there. I think we both came back with a great mindset for the season and about the position and how it’s supposed to be played.”
