Bear Lake Township Fire Fighters Association holding annual chicken barbeque

BEAR LAKE TOWNSHIP — Are you looking for something to do Labor Day weekend, but do not want to travel far from home?

Head on over to the Bear Lake Township Fire Department for the 42nd Annual Chicken Barbeque on Sunday, Sept. 5, from 11 a.m.  to 2:30 p.m. It will be held at the Bear Lake Township Community Center on the corner of M-72 and East Bear Lake Road.

Tickets for the Barbeque are $10 for adults and $5 for children. They will be serving mashed potatoes, barbeque chicken, cole slaw, dinner rolls, and a dessert. Food will be served beginning at 11 a.m.

There will be train rides and games for the children. And for adults there will be the

much anticipated raffle drawings.
