All-Area Girls Track team

REGION — Bellaire’s Colleen Randolph put a definitive stamp on her high school running career this spring.

The Eagles’ standout excelled in the pole vault and as a distance runner, qualifying for the state finals in two events, including as a part of Bellaire’s 4x800-meter relay team. She was one of six athletes from the area to earn a trip to the state meet, but no one placed as highly in an event as Randolph did in the vault. Her performance throughout the spring was consistently excellent, putting her among the best in the Ski Valley Conference and at the regional level and making her the pick as the Review Girls Track Athlete of the Year.
