KALKASKA – At least one member, and maybe more, of the Kalkaska County Board of Commissioners might soon be hitting the road in support of seeking a waiver to a reverter clause for the Kaliseum Recreation Complex.

MANCELONA – Anyone that has recently spent time at parks in the Mancelona area may have spotted brightly painted rocks that resemble a lady bug, animal or have a cheerful message written on them.
KALKASKA – Jeff Sieting has served as the Kalkaska village president since 2011, after unseating Virginia Thomas in the 2010 general election. That includes being unchallenged in winning his next two two-year terms in office.
KALKASKA – The Kalkaska County Fair and 4-H events began on Tuesday, July 25 with animal shows and exhibit displays, and ended on Saturday, July 29 with the Bump n’ Run Demolition Derby.
