Trojans march on to spot in semifinals

CENTRAL LAKE — It’s been a record-setting offensive season for the Central Lake-Ellsworth football team.

And on Friday night, with the 8-man, Division 2 regional championship on the line, the Trojans had their attack running with fine-tuned precision.

Central Lake-Ellsworth (11-0) amassed a season-best 599 yards as the Trojans cruised to the regional title with a 58-26 win over Suttons Bay (7-4) at Herrick Field.
