Abuse of Antrim County’s recycling services continues. At the Bellaire site last week, some inconsiderate individuals left bags of garbage, plastic Adirondack chairs and even a busted porcelain toilet sitting outside the bins. Last I checked, porcelain toilets and bags of household garbage are not recyclable items and I’m pretty sure I’m safe saying that the rude person or persons who left that stuff knows that.
It’s possible that the plastic Adirondack chairs might qualify as being recyclable, but since they were too big to fit in any of the bin openings, they are considered litter and should not have been left there.
