At noon on Tuesday, the always popular Fourth of July parade will begin and travel through the downtown area of Central Lake. This year’s Grand Marshals are the Central Lake Masons and the “Volunteer of the Year” will be longtime Central Lake Lion Don Seifried.

CENTRAL LAKE – Fireworks, a boat parade, pancake breakfast and the annual Fourth of July parade, will headline one of the biggest and most popular Independence Day celebrations in northern Michigan when the village of Central Lake commemorates the holiday early next week.
