Not guilty: Coldsprings man beats assault, weapons charges

KALKASKA – A Coldsprings Township resident is free to live life as he wishes again, after being acquitted last week of felony assault and weapons charges in a 46th Circuit Court jury trial.

Brian Lee Houtman, 46, of Coldsprings Township was arrested by Kalkaska County Sheriff’s Department officials on May 29.
