MSP arrests Bellaire man after fight escalates, Kalkaska teen stabbed
KALKASKA — A friendly gathering at a Kalkaska Township residence turned violent in the early morning hours of Sunday, ending with one person allegedly being stabbed and another taken into custody by the Michigan State Police.
According to reports, troopers from the MSP Houghton Lake Post were called to the residence at about 12:30 a.m. on Sunday morning.
Witnesses told MSP officials the gathering was a friendly one until two individuals — a 19-year-old Bellaire man and an 18-year-old Mancelona man — began arguing over an alleged stolen dirt bike.
