A long overdue conversation

Rights are not absolute without continuous judicious review and the ability to change them, as society re-interprets gun rights and regulations. We need to be mindful of the Supreme Court rule that the Constitution allows communities to legislate gun regulation, as former Supreme Court Justice Scalia has written.
A false logic unfolded from a recent letter in the Antrim Review that states, and l paraphrase, an ATF study that 100 percent of the time when the seller felt the buyer should not legally own a gun, the seller refused the sale. Really?
What about legal buyers like the Parkland shooter, or those that slipped by the profile of the sellers’ questions? What qualification grants gun purchase expertise to sellers for gun buyers, and what gun seller would agree to the possible liability for making a mistake?
