There I am, leaning on the sink in my bedroom, bent over with a two-handed stranglehold on my vibrating electric toothbrush, attempting to choke it into submission by pushing on that little button as hard as I can to turn the darned thing off. It’s a fight to the finish two or three times a day and leaves me tired out and ready for a little nap.
I am reminded of those foolhardy folks who leap onto the backs on alligators and struggle to clamp those toothy jaws closed. It’s frustrating to be so physically weak, but it’s also a little funny … if you let it. I have been known to sip my hot tea in a restaurant through a straw because I couldn’t lift the mug. Who would have thought such things would be a major issue of my “Golden Years?”
