Little Old Woman - Putting technology to the test

OK, I admit defeat; technology is wonderful, spectacular and splendiferous, even if I don’t understand a single bit of it, and don’t like some of what it does. Huge strides have been taken with amazing results, but my observations in just my own small slice of the world have been disturbing.
I see people reacting to others through their phone, tablets, and computers rather than face-to-face. When any of those things can give you a hug perhaps I’ll change my mind.
Last year we attended a textile/art exhibit at the Dennos Museum and my favorite piece was six life-sized figures of teenagers. They were made of white felt and stood together, but each faced away from the others as they all peered down into their phones. Obviously I am not the only one who takes a dim view of some aspects of technology.
